TPC-W Benchmark (Web Commerce)

TPC-W is a transactional web e-Commerce benchmark, it specifies an e-Commerce workload that simulates the activities of a retail website which produces heavy load on the backend database.

The last version of TPC-W is Version 1.8.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.9 is released

Redhat 5.9 is released at 07-Jan-2013.  (version with java 1.7 supported)

Some new features:
Kernel: system call events have been added: sys_enter, sys_exit
Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5.9 adds hardware checksum support for UDP running over IPv6.
The file: /proc/<pid>/limits file (is writable).
