How to disable the ip6 at CentOS 6.X

CentOS 6.X

Don’t disabling the ipv6 module.

1. Change the file: /etc/sysctl.conf

add the following lines:
net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6=1
net.ipv6.conf.default.disable_ipv6=1

2. Execute the cmds:
sysctl -w net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6=1
sysctl -w net.ipv6.conf.default.disable_ipv6=1

and reboot if necessary
